Back to The Tap and Spile Years

July 28th

This was a busy night. Quaker veteran Lee found us, the Matrix / CK5 lads turned up, and Chris pretty much dazzled on the bass. Also, say Hi to Paul's new bass cabinets (so I finally get my Laney back).

The drummer's happy... ...the bass-player's awake... ...and the guitarist's on form again Chris adds some exciting bass to Crossroads Black Magic Wombat Phil Careless Sultana Sherryl, Holding the Line Not much of a Criminal (Not actually that Smooth either) Sherryl and Kenny Darren's on the M25 again (Actually, it's a Standard 24) David Lee Broth Jane did a couple in the break... ...assisted by Phil Daz and Neil The Matrix-Kicker Two The Unicorns Less Numb but more Comfortable Ooh, two bass-players Lee gets rockin' on Johnny B. Goode I'll take that price tag off eventually Oh, my that little country boy can play Geordie and Stan More BVs than you can shake a stick at... ...(if that's your idea of a good time) Marty sends them home happy again
