• BRIEF HISTORY; Spence started singing at an early age, nursery rhymes mainly, and the drumming started at a similar age using whatever came to hand, ie knife, fork, brother's head. He started drumming in earnest (but then moved to Gateshead) almost 20 years ago and started gigging with The Twelve Angry Penguins at the tender age of 19. Spence has gigged since then with around 25 bands, sometimes as drummer, sometimes as singer but more recently as both! Due to both seeming as rare as chicken's teeth. He has almost "made it" on a couple of occasions, has done both studio and session work and has played venues both large and small the length and breadth of the country, including The Riverside Newcastle(twice). Fudjit is Spence's brainchild and way of giving back some of the enjoyment that he has gained and hopefully of imparting some of his knowledge and experience to others.
